Sen. Risa Hontiveros on Thursday released documents that show the possible identity of Mayor Alice Guo’s mother as one Lin Wen Yi, an incorporator involved in many of the mayor’s businesses in Bamban, Tarlac.

This comes after Sen. Win Gatchalian’s interview, where she revealed that Valenzuela residents can prove that when the mayor was still living in the city, her alleged mother was one Lin Wen Yi.

“The identity of Mayor Alice’s mother is crucial to this whole saga. If the mother is Chinese, and the father is Chinese, then it will be proven that the Mayor is not really Filipino. If this is true, the bigger question is: why did she have to pretend? Why is there hiding and lying?” the senator said.

Hontiveros said that Mayor Guo’s co-incorporators are at least seven of his businesses — namely QJJ Group of Companies, QJJ Farms, QJJ Embroidery, QJJ Meat Shop, 3LIN-Q Farm, QJJ Slaughterhouse, and QSeed Genetics — including his siblings Shiela L. Guo and Siemen L. Guo, his father Jian Zhong Guo, and this Lin Wen Yi.

“If Mayor Alice can lie about her siblings, it’s not far-fetched that she’s also hiding her mother’s true identity. She’s been lying in the past two hearings. So much fabrication, almost nothing comes out of her mouth,” said Hontiveros.

“Are they all related? Is this one big, dubious family business? As Sen. Win also noted, travel records show that Jian Zhong Guo and Lin Wen Yi travel together at least 170 times in the span of six years. Are they just business partners or are they actually married?” Hontiveros asked.

Hontiveros also shared a Bureau of Internal Revenue document confirming the birth dates and addresses of Mayor Guo’s co-incorporators, who are said to be members of his family.

“The birth year of this Lin Wen Yi is 1971. If she is the real mother, she was only 15 years old when Alice was born. And if she is also the mother of Sheila, who Alice admits to being her sister, then she was only 13 years old when Sheila was born? Unless this is all just a fabrication, a figment of the imagination of a Chinese syndicate authorized by government officials,” said Hontiveros.

“We have another source who says that Mayor Guo’s mother is called ‘Winnie.’ Is this a Filipinoized version of Lin Wen Yi? Why is it being kept secret? Who is this family? Why is there so much mystery? We will get to the bottom of this,” the senator concluded.
